all started on
July 3, 1948 when Arthur Bates opened his namesake,
describing it as:
"A beautiful restaurant, conceived
with exacting care ... dedicated to people who appreciate
fine food, graciously served in an atmosphere of luxury
and beauty."
Fifty-eight years later, owner
Mohsen Heidari is continuing
in the same grand tradition.
